HostelManagement.com got a mention in Arthur Frommer's blog yesterday.
Arthur Frommer writes:
Their founders are among the most active entrepreneurs in travel today... The eruption of hostels -- hostels by the scores -- all over the world, is probably the single biggest news in the world of low-cost travel.
He also mentions HostelManagement.com:
Hostel Management (www.hostelmanagement.com), a new website dealing with the phenomenon, tracks the current state of expansion, hosts a message board for hostel operators, and provides listings for hostels by city, country, and name.
Arthur Frommer is the author of the book Europe on 5 Dollars a Day, first published in 1957. A news article about the book says:
On the 50th anniversary of the book’s publication, Frommer is still being credited with helping to change leisure travel by showing average Americans that they could afford a trip to Europe.
The book is, "widely credited with having launched a massive movement by American tourists to Europe." (bio)
Many thanks to Arthur Frommer for the coverage of hostels, and for the mention of this site!

Great publicity
Hi,
Congratulations on the mention by Mr. Frommer. I just came across this site, and I am impressed with some of the unique content you have.
I recently started a website about my experiences on traveling cheaply, which of-course means staying at hostels. I'd love to start a hostel one day to give back for all of the great experiences and people I have met over the years.
