Finding Opportunities (Hostels for sale)

Does any one have any suggestions on finding hostels for sale other than through avenues like hostel management, google, paying hefty retainers to brokers, etc? In addition, I plan on calling hostels in my city. Does any one have any suggestions on how to get through gatekeepers at locations and speak with owners directly to find out if they are looking to sell? How would you approach the owner & what would you say/ pitch?

I am currently looking to acquire a hostel within the next month & have conducted my industry research, plans, etc.

However, the only hostel opportunites I have found are through google. So far I have 4 or 5 opportunites but are interested in about 3 at most.

Hi, I found the location for my first hostel with a very helpful real estate agent who charged very little, but its Bulgaria.

Now I'm planning to open another one in south of Spain and will be there on the 16th to find a location.

I am looking for parthners/investors.

May I ask why did you sell your hostel in Bulgaria? (I suppose the "ex" in your name means you don't have your hostel anymore)

That is actually the name and its still open. Best rated hostel in Varna in the season 2008 and 2009. Now thinking to expand to Spain and later (if other investors are found) to other countries.

You find me on hostelworld Varna, Bulgaria but only from the 18th of December cause now I'm on holiday

Cool , your here in the states . Try craigs list in all the business for sale , I would even suggest forget buying one and build your own . Something to keep in mind a seller put a lot more value into a "turn key" as opposed t the asset value the you would put in yourself. Let me know if I can help.
