The ideal candidate....

outgoing (gotta be nice to our customers!)
responsible (not party until 2AM when working the next day)
reliable (will do what he/she says they will)
flexible (oops something came up can you adapt?)
morning person (gotta get up and make the coffee!)
multi-lingual or at least well traveled (it is a hostel after all)
have mechanical common sense (toilet's broke, can you fix it?)
willingness to learn (can't fix the toilet yet, but can you learn?)
foundation in computers (reservation systems and network troubleshooting)
like kids (we're family/couple oriented)
available (can you get here yesterday?)
not on medication....or habit forming drugs. Light alcohol consumption OK!

Someone who likes hostels and the atmosphere and ideally wants to learn the ropes in order to start one somewhere.
