Default Hi from Carolyn Zukowski, Krumlov House, and www.eco-hostels.org

    Hi there!

I've just launched www.eco-hostels.org and will now start adding eco-friendly hostels to our ECO HOSTELS FOR TRAVELLERS section. Are you an eco-friendly hostel? Well, by nature, hostels are naturally eco-friendly in that guests share resources communally...but we can do so much more than that. If your hostel is committed to:
    -saving energy
    -reducing water usage
    -recycling and pre-cycling
-promoting eco-active activities locally and internationally
-promoting eco-awareness to staff, guests, and local authorities

then I'd be happy to list you as an eco-hostel. There is no fee; and you are welcome to use our eco-hostels.org logo in any of your promotional materials. Send me your link and a short description of your hostel's eco-practices to info@eco-hostels.org

Let's change the world -- one bed at a time.

    All best,

    Carolyn Harris Zukowski

    Hi Carolyn,

Fantastic idea for a website - and what a great website too! I can get together a list of hostels in Latin America that would fit the bill if you like.

Have a look at this little gem, it's a jungle lodge which caters to backpackers - It comes from the man who used to be in charge of natural resources in the Galapagos islands and is tipped to become the number 1 eco-lodge in the world with iventive ideas regarding water purification and animal breeding programmes.

    All the best,
