New feature -- you can now embed maps from
umapper.com into forum posts:
Create a map and then pull the code out of the
embed code:
[umapper]15400[/ umapper] (remove the space to make it a map)
Sample map with my location on it:
How to Find the Code to Use:
This is what the embed code looks like with the map code highlighted in red:
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,0,0" id="umapper_embed_15400" width="500" height="300"> <param name="FlashVars" value="kmlPath=http://www.umapper.com/download/maps/kml/15400.kml" /> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /> <param name="movie" value="http://umapper.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/swf/embed.swf" /> <param name="src" value="http://umapper.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/swf/embed" /> <param name="name" value="umapper_embed_15400" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <embed src="http://umapper.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/swf/embed.swf" FlashVars="kmlPath=http://www.umapper.com/download/maps/kml/15400.kml" allowScriptAccess="always" quality="high" width="500" height="300" name="umapper_embed_15400" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /> </object>
I found out about umapper.com from
the Bug.co.uk blog...
