User Biographies
One of the things I've done to reduce spam is to require each new user to fill out a short biography so I can manually moderate new user accounts. It seems to have stopped the spammers.
The "biography" field accidentally had a limit of 100 characters, which I've updated to 2000 characters. If you tried to fill out the field and didn't have enough room to write everything, it's fixed now
