The new functionalities begin with a highly advanced interactive map display which gives a birds-eye view of all the properties in that city with flagged points of interest. For example, clients can now select their preferred hostel in Rome based on how close it is to the Colosseum or the Vatican and see the hostel ratings by clicking on the map marker. Other features include a modernized graphic and the ability to choose hostel facilities and the price range from the beginning of the search. The face lift of the site has brought it into the millennium with clear icons and vibrant colors.
