Smile The Hostel Food & Beverage Poll

This poll asks whether your hostel serves food and/or drinks. Unlike most of the other polls on this site, this poll makes your username publicly visible next to your votes. Each user is able to choose multiple answers.

I voted for three options that we've had at the different hostels I've worked in (hostel bar, and 2 kinds of BBQs).

We do include breakfast in our rates, plus we offer coffee and different types of teas all day long.
We also own a pizzeria that is located next to the hostel, so if any guest need pizza, empanadas or calzone with beer or soft drinks...they are wlcome to request them at the recepction área.
Kapake, provides classes to anyone that wants to learn how to make a real gaucho BBQ, fire made out of wood and only wood, Argentine meat rocks, we have a great wine provider in Mendoza.
    YUM!
    Nice subjetct!

If you made a tutorial video of how to do that and embeded it in a blog I think it would get some links and interest.

Aside from great BBQ facilities on our rooftop terrace we don't offer any food or drinks right now. In the near future we plan to add vending machines for snacks and drinks. In the slightly more distant future we would like to add a very small bar that will be open exclusively for our guests.

we've got a bar, technically it is open to the public... but it tends to attract a lot of nutters so its for guests only. gonna be open 24/7 soon too!

we also provide breakfast and im looking into selling a bit of food from behind the bar, we currently offer free nachos on a monday night (free tequila too!) but there are a few food safety issues to be dealt with... so it'll probably just be microwave meals and pot noodles.

Free continental Breakfast was included in the price, we also had free dinner three times a week. Thanksgiveing and x-mas were also occasions for free dinner, I think food & travel go very well together.

I agree. When I'm traveling, if there is free food available you can count on me to be there. It doesn't even matter if it's nothing more than a plate of simple pasta. If I'm still hungry after the free food I'll just round up the new friends I made at dinner and head out to a restaurant.
