We are an 18 bed hostel located in the mountains of Western Maine with much to do all seasons. Summer finds guests on the beginner and family friendly Androscoggin River, hiking the many trails including the Appalachian, visiting swimming holes and waterfalls, touring a local mine, sluicing for semi-precious gems and so much more.

The winter draw is primarily skiing of all types with snowmobile rails which make grand nordic trails just out the back door. Sunday River and Mt. Abrams ski resorts are just 20 minutes away.

There is also snow shoeing, ice climbing and dog sled trips. Bethel is a cute New England town with a good variety of shops, reasonably priced grocery store and a health food store.
