Beachside Hostel Looking For New Long Term Family Members!!
Come join us at Waikiki Beachside Hostel!
We are a newly opened hostel in the midst of Waikiki. We are right alongside the chaos of Honolulu's nighttime entertainment, beaches, and diverse food options. We are a small operation at the moment, but we have some amazing plans set for the next two years to grow and become Hawaii's largest Hostel. How would you like the experience to work alongside us as we gain new momentum and inspiration to create a lovely space for travelers and friends to gain beautiful memories!?
We are looking for individuals that understand the life of a hostel, the chaos, the beauty, the weird moments, all of it! Those individuals are welcome to send us a message as we aren't just looking for cleaning or reception, we are looking for a mixture. Everyone on the team does a little bit of every type of shift, whether that be cleaning, night shift, morning shift, extra projects, social nights. We all work to create a balance for everyone on our team and we hope to bring on more people that share that same energy.
Reception shifts include: Greeting guests; Problem solving; Giving advice; Making coffee; Telling stories; And let's not forget, Computer work. We do expect anyone coming on board to work, it is a fun and casual experience, however, work comes first. If the job is not done properly, then the fun and casual atmosphere is put aside. We are serious about providing a wonderful space for guests, while, making sure every employee is pulling their weight.
Cleaning includes: Cleaning the dorm rooms and ensuite bathrooms; Common spaces (Reception, Kitchen, and lounge); Taking out trash; Cleaning hallways; cleaning off beds (guest make up their own beds here), etc. Again, we encourage staff to have fun while working, such as listening to music while cleaning, however, cleaning will be the priority so please be respectful of that.
Extra projects: As we work towards more space and carry out extra projects, we welcome all of our team to get involved whether that be for holiday celebrations, big projects on the property, social events for guests, etc. There will always be extra work and extra time after to enjoy what Hawaii has out there.
