Mountain Town River Hostel Looking for a Front Desk Worker

We're offering a private room with a shared bathroom, and use of a bike, in exchange for 10-15hrs a week of work. Work is usually one day of front desk, covering the evening emergency phone when other staff are on vacation, which tends to ring once a month or so, and helping out with housekeeping or basic maintenance to fill the rest of your hours. We like to play to strengths. Our previous work-stayers have set up a composting system, taught guests to fish, painted murals for us, and much more. There's also always one other full time work-stayer on staff to hang out with.

We are a small mountain town hostel that caters to adventure seekers looking to get their fill of the mountains. If you're looking for a smaller relaxing chill atmosphere from which to base your adventures we are the place to be.

It is great if you have a car, but it is not necessary. We have trail access to our extensive mountain bike trails right out the back door. The Arkansas River also flows 100ft from our back porch, with easy river access. There's tons of hiking, biking, rafting, and tubing. It's also a plus if you're a dog person! We always have staff dogs around at the hostel!
