My name is Charles Pankow and I started Hostal de Sammy in Santiago with my best friend Sammy, an Australian Cattle Dog mix that I brought with me from the United States. Since opening of the hostel last year, I lost Sammy to cancer but his name and spirit lives on in the hostel.

Hostalcandys,unique antique two-story house situated in the historic residential district of Providencia.
We offer short and long-term accommodations with a calm and friendly atmosphere.

This Residencia is sheltered between the hills near to steps of the Plaza Sotomayor, the tourist center of Valparaiso.

The hostel is a big house with shared rooms, TV room, reading room, kitchen and dining restaurant. The atmosphere is quite familiar as it is served by its owners and has a maximum capacity of 20 people, there are 2 choices of rooms with private bathroom and shared bathroom. We are located on land with native flora, fruit trees and a small farm in Hostel consumption.

Hostal Caracol is a beautiful beginning of the century house remodeled with all the original materials, noble woods, tin ceilings and floor tiles. All this fully equipped and decorated with colors of today.
